Meet Mrs. Weibling
I grew up in Enid and my family and I are excited to be back home. After high school, I attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in elementary education. I recieved my masters in Library Media Science at Texas Women's University. Getting married in the summer of 2001, led us on a path to Garden City, Kansas where I taught 5th grade for 3 years. We then moved to Texas in 2004 where I started teaching 3rd grade. We were in Texas for 4 years and moved to Arkansas for 1 year. After our one year stint in Arkansas we moved back to Texas for 4 more years. Upon moving back to Texas, I taught 2 years of 3rd grade and was an elementary librarian for two years. Texas was wonderful, but we were ready to be around family again so we decided to move back to Oklahoma. I spent two years with Enid Public Schools where I was a middle school librarian and the director of school libraries for Enid Public Schools. I love being a librarian and so this leads me to the present. Being the hub and heartbeat of a school is absolutely my passion. Librarians have the opportunity to lead and support their learning community in many different facets and I am excited to be a part of it. Being at Garber Public School is an exciting adventure that I am embracing.
